Stacy Bourque-Belt, LCSW-C

About Me

​Stacy Bourque-Belt completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park and a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in Clinical Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland with over 30 years of experience. Stacy has extensive experience working with adults of all ages in a community setting who are dealing with severe and persistent mental illness. Her experience includes a wide range of mental health challenges and working with diverse populations.


Stacy’s passion lies in empowering individuals to manage their symptoms and build fulfilling lives. She believes in a collaborative approach; meeting her clients “where they are”. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy in order to best help her clients, using many different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Biopsychosocial Therapy, to name a few.


Stacy’s areas of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss and life transitions, among others. She provides an emotionally safe and nurturing therapeutic setting in order for her clients to explore their feelings and gain insight.
